Prayer House Not A Play House

It was the day of Sabbath and time for Sunday mass. I reached Church and quietly sat on a bench. The Priest began the mass and everyone joined in the praises. As soon as the mass started, I noticed a lady giving her child a packet of chips. The lady completely distracted and distracting others just couldn't manage her child when he was bored after he finished the chips. So, she tells him to go and play with the other kids playing around running and jumping from one grave to the other. This refers not only to that particular lady but many times we see situations like this. Lets talk about 20 years back... This never happened! Then whats happening around us Now. When we come to church why dont they teach their kids to pray and sit quietly? With parents reasoning out for their kids saying that the mass is boring, so they give them to eat to pass time and other such lame excuses that practically don't make sense. Is coming to Gods home a picninc? Can't we give God our complete attention for just 1 hour-once a week. Is that asking for too much? You wont be surprised to see these same kids sitting quietly in one place watching TV or playing games on the mobile for hours together. How do they know how to stay quite and sit in school for long hours? Is it their fault or the fault of the parents who are responsible to teach their kids discipline and show some respect while they attend mass. Its high time they do something or as they teach their kids- their kids will teach their kids and the trend will continue. So to all the parents out there.......
PS: It's a Prayer House Not A Play House!!!!!

Little Things In Life

Work- Home- Work... Life feels pretty much the same (except for weekends), Yet, feels like it passes away in a blink and bang! A month has just passed, soon a year and then years. Everything can't be so constant or else we'l be brain-dead. Music, Movies, Books, My phone- companions while travelling. Family, friends and collegues- companions for life. Life seems to be moving pretty fast and its very importnat to stop for a while to notice the little moments in life. Apart from your buzy schedule, its necessary to take a break and do the things you love. Make a change, change your day, change your life. Are we so buzy to notice the birds flying across the bright blue sky covered with cottony clouds. The little child smiling at you, hoping to get a smile back in return. Your mother waiting for you to share stories and get into a conversation. Lost lost relatives who hope you'd call them someday. The dusty guitar lying in the corner of the room...

Life is made up of simple things. So try not to complicate. Make the most of it for the moments spent today will be just a memory of tomorrow. Pay attention to little things or you'd never know when those Seconds will become Minutes and Hours to Days to Weeks to Months to Years...
