An extra mile he walked on the isolated
beach. Melancholy footsteps into the sand that left deep impressions behind. It
was the same way he felt all this while back. The more he began to think,
deeper and deeper the scars lay behind. Reflecting on his life, the mistakes he
made, the hurt and pain he's been through. Downhearted, he pulled himself
to move ahead, pushing away the gripping negativity.
Splashing waves on his feet, washed
out his footprint on the very ground he stood. Turning behind he realized the
very essence of his existence was washed out as he walked all this while. The
assumption that he left a trail of footprints existed only for that moment.
Without his notice the waves had already filled out his footprints with sand.
The moment was serene. It was just him, gazing at the contrary sides. It was
Life that gave him options. A crucial flip-side to walk back or move ahead with
a new beginning.
